• Duplicate our precious Blessed Baby design around the room. Wrap all pictures or hanging mirrors in light pink wrapping paper. Use white, sheer tulle fabric to create the ‘cross’ design. Simply drape fabric around wrapped frame vertically, and then horizontally, securing at the back of the frame. (Use a generous amount of fabric in order to allow for a gathered effect.) Where the fabric crosses, gather the vertical and the horizontal pieces together, closer to the top of the frame. Tie loosely together with a pink ribbon. Finish with a pink bow and/or pink silk flowers. (Note: This works well for doors too, and creates a dramatic, warm welcome for the front door!)
• Set tables with our coordinating baby Blessed Girl tableware and top with inexpensive centerpieces. Group together various heights of pink and white candles and place atop a bed of white and pink tulle fabric. Place pink carnations on the tulle and between the candles. Scatter our Blessed Girl butter mints throughout the centerpiece atop the fabric.
• Serve pink foods such as fresh strawberries with pink-tinted whipped cream or pink cream cheese for dipping; raspberries with white chocolate; watermelon slices; pink salmon appetizers; and a signature pink Baby Girl Punch. To make the non-alcoholic punch, mix together cranberry juice, pineapple juice and ginger ale. Serve in our coordinating Baby Girl cups and top each with a pineapple garnish and pink straw.
• Order (or bake) sugar cookies in the shape of crosses and frost with pink frosting or pink sprinkles.
• Order (or bake) a white cake in the shape of a cross. Use a pink strawberry or raspberry filling and frost with light pink frosting.
• Provide keepsake favors for guests and present them in our pretty Blessed Baby pink cross organza bags. Special gifts might include cross-shaped ornaments, cross-shaped jewelry, etc.
• Celebrate the birth of the special baby girl by giving each guest a small plant or packets of seeds so they can grow a pretty plant in honor of the new life. (Include a small card, noting that you’d like them to join you in honoring the new baby by planting a tribute in her honor.) Present this thoughtful gift in our Blessed Baby favor pails with cross motif.
• Buy a new Bible or a special book for the baby girl. Have each guest write a special note inside the cover for the baby. Present the Bible or book to the new mother at the end of the shower or celebration.
